120h to Tokyo | Tokyo Techno LP by Borna Libertines

Tokyo techno arrives on its own terms with 120h to Tokyo, Borna Libertines’ eight-track LP landing July 1, 2026. Built on analog synths, modular sequences, and a kick riding 138–140 BPM, the record maps the city as frequency — urban motion translated into machine rhythm, uplifting without ever resolving into comfort. Jazz fragments surface through saxophone lines before the acid bass reclaims the floor. That same collision between cultures and surfaces drives Borna’s collage and graffiti practice — imagery stripped, recombined, made to carry more than its origin. Eight tracks, thirty-two minutes: stream the full release at Music or on Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music. 🎵

4. TRACK GUIDE

1. 120h to Tokyo (4:10, 140 BPM) — The opener encodes the journey: a propulsive modular framework that converts anticipation into forward motion, the departure running at full tempo.

2. This Is Tokyo (3:10, 140 BPM) — First contact. Acid bass opens the city’s grid; an uplifting chord structure carries the weight of arrival without sentiment.

3. Night Over Tokyo (6:41, 140 BPM) — The centrepiece. Piano over a rolling bassline, six and a half minutes of the city after dark — the record’s most atmospheric track, earning every second.

4. Tokyo Freedom (3:12, 140 BPM) — Emotional peak at full tempo. The rolling bass cuts loose; movement without destination, the city at speed.

5. Dancing With Tokyo (4:03, 138 BPM) — Saxophone enters the machine, bending jazz vocabulary into techno grammar. The EP’s most cinematically textured four minutes.

6. Tokyo Shunshin Desu (2:45, 140 BPM) — Compact and sharp: sax and acid bass in direct collision, a two-minute forty-five-second distillation of the jazz-to-techno transmission.

7. Tokyo Right Now Tokyo Right Here (3:16, 140 BPM) — Presence over memory. Acid bass at full tilt; techno as an act of immediate experience, no nostalgia.

8. This Is Tokyo (Extended)(5:07, 140 BPM) — The arrival given room: the original’s structure expanded and deepened into a proper closer.
